In the field of contemporary dream analysis, the imagery of losing teeth can be understood symbolically as the process of starting something new like a project, a relationship or changing habits both for men and women.

I had a dream about losing parts of my tooth and when they fell out they were actually shards of glass. The glass was thick and looked like ice but I knew it was glass. ????????????‍♀️

I dreamed that I stood over the sink and pulled all of my teeth out by hand, one by one, root and all. No pain or blood at all. The teeth appeared to be like chalk.
The dream I had before this one was that I was cheating on my husband in a flirting way, not intimately.

I have a recurring dream where I have a lose tooth and it ends up falling out. In the dream I am like what the heck I have all my adult teeth this shouldn’t be happening. Then I end up looking in the mirror and under the tooth that fell out was a much smaller tooth or a tooth that doesnt look like the rest of my teeth (in one of the dreams of was my canine tooth I lost and i had almost fanglike teeth under it). This freaked me out bc I was like, ok can I put the tooth that fell out back? Is the small fucked up tooth going to grow in more or is that it?? Now that I’m typing this is it possible that these dreams have some sort of relevance to my childhood experience of losing teeth because I often waited way too long to pull my loose teeth to the point that multiple times I did have the normal adult tooth beginning to grow under it?

I had a dream last night, can’t remember much of it but I remember the end of it was me on my knees in some room and I pulled the tooth right before my bottom right wisdom tooth out. What freaked me out was that I felt the sensation of the tooth’s roots popping once I pulled it out. My mouth hurt and it woke up me. After a few seconds the pain went away and I checked my teeth, all were intact. Weirdest dream I’ve had in a while.

I always have dreams that I’m losing teeth sometimes it’s all of the other times it’s just one. Last night I had one where my tooth was hanging in by one nerve and I was screaming bc I didn’t wanna lose my teeth. I kept wiggling it and trying to get it off of that one nerve but it wouldn’t come off it was just hanging there. I felt terrified. I knew I was dreaming and I was trying to wake myself up but I just couldn’t wake up. I was telling myself “I know this is a dream” but it just felt so real that when I finally did wake up I had to make sure my tooth was still there.

I keep having this dream where different people come and talk to me but as they come over my mouth starts closing and I cant open it and my teeth get crushed together, the second time I had this dream I tried to wedge my fingers in my mouth to create a gap between my teeth but they just got more stuck and started grinding together, I also remember thinking ‘Oh this is just a dream if I open my eyes it will be over!’ So I do but its still not over and I can feel the pain.

I had these dreams for about 4 years. My mum was dying a continent away and it was she who was losing her teeth and I was feeling her loss…

I just woke up from dreaming that I had a nicer, fit body and I was feeling confident but as I’m checking myself out in the mirror my four bottom teeth just start falling out along with two more on the top (but not my front teeth) and I was honestly mortified crying to my parents asking them why this was happening to me and they told me i had some auto immune disease or something and then I woke up feeling very sad and worried because it felt real

  • Dee

I had one just now about mine feeling tighter and tighter until they fell out one by one while I was around my father. I came to realize I was just feeling and having anxiety about not returning or answering his phone calls.
